Registered Dental HygienistBuilding relationships with my patients is key to me. We understand that going to the dentist is not always at the top of your list however, having a fun and friendly dental team makes the experience a lot more enjoyable. I love helping my patients understand disease and motivate them to make progress tailored to their needs.
At work my main focus is on achieving and maintaining optimal oral health with prevention being key in my practice. At the first signs of disease is when I want to intervene with various treatment options. Patient education is of utmost importance, whether it be about your oral hygiene or any dental treatment you may need. A thorough explanation of all treatment is necessary to make the best decision for your oral health and what is important for your overall health.
Also, once health has been achieved why not explore esthetic options. Orthodontics, whitening, Botox, there are so many fun options to give yourself a beautiful health smile!
Currently, I am working towards a degree in health science. So, I spend a lot of time on my studies. I also like to be active, I enjoy going to the gym and in the winter I cross country ski with a fellow hygienist. St. Albert has wonderful trails and a lot to offer for outdoor activities. Most of my friends and family live in and around the area, so spending quality time with those important people is my most enjoyable activity outside of work.

Registered Dental Assistant & Orthodontic Assistant, Level 2I graduated from SAIT and later obtained my orthodontic module. I enjoy working in an organized friendly environment and love being a part of the dynamic team at St. Albert Summit Dental Clinic. I find working with Dr. Habib is very rewarding. He is very easy going, professional and provides the utmost care to each and every one of his patients.
As an assistant I am able to provide individual personal care to each patient. Allowing me to develop an excellent rapport with my patients while helping to achieve their perfect smile. I am able to answer questions in regards to treatment, x-rays, assist in treatments such as fillings, making sports mouth guards and the list goes on! My goal is for all of our patients to feel comfortable during their dental treatment and to receive outstanding care.
It brings me great pleasure to be able to make a positive impact in our patient’s lives with braces. My favorite part is watching the progress of each patient’s smile while they are in regular braces, invisible aligners and lingual/hidden braces. I get so much satisfaction from witnessing our patient’s joy and smiles on the day their braces are removed.
Outside of work I love fitness of any kind. Running, biking and yoga are my favorities. At home I am often cooking new recipes and spending time with my dog Maddison. Weekends I enjoy venturing around the downtown core, sampling new restaurants and scoping out the local farmers market.

Sterilization AssistantI graduated from Medical Office Administration and recently joined Dr. Habib’s team as the office sterilization assistant. Prior to joining the team at St. Albert Summit Dental Clinic I worked at a senior’s home as a dietary aid. Everyone at the office is friendly and welcoming, which has made my transition in the dental world easy and enjoyable! Since I was young I have shown an interest in health care field and learning about the human body.
My role in the office is to assist in the setup and take down of treatment rooms as well as process dental instruments to ensure they meet proper infection prevention control standards.
In my spare time I enjoy trying new recipes, spending time with my family and friends and exploring outdoors with my dog!
